on a view of our big event

For all my many fans (!!!) I thought I would share with you a picture of the great gang of young people involved in our recent event in Greenville.

The whole event was a real blessing and a privilege to be a part of.

Wondering, is that a Howard standing next to the bride? Looks like it, but I'm not certain.

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words.

Chris, that is a Howard. Stephen was born one week before Duncan. They were friends as little boys on Vancouver Island when his parents served up here. I always refer to his dad as my best friend in the ministry. We have been very close, ever since the years we served on 'the Rock' together. Anyway, our boys have been friends at BJU and it gave me a good deal of pleasure to see Stephen stand up with Duncan as his best man.

You probably know this, but the Howards live just a short distance from where I minister. In fact, Stephen attended our evening service last week, along with Pastor Ashbrook, his grandfather, as their service had been in the afternoon.

Small world.
